O.W.L.S. are Senior Adults providing spiritual care and fellowship for each other, their church, and their community.

The O.W.L.S. program has three parts:
1. Spiritual growth We boldly proclaim the saving grace of Jesus Christ. There is salvation in no one else, and in Jesus Christ, there is spiritual power for living.
2. Service The O.W.L.S. participate in service projects in the church and in the community. Many of our Senior Adults are active in ministries like City Team in Chester, Meals on Wheels, Chaplaincies at local hospitals, and many other significant places of service.
3.
Fellowship The O.W.L.S. regularly gather for fellowship. Some of their recent
activities include:
Monthly
luncheons at the church
Bus trips to
Sight and Sound in Lancaster, PA
Trips to
Longwood Gardens to see the seasonal flower displays
Dinner Trips
on the Delaware River and other locations
Restaurant
gatherings after church in the summer

Marcos Almonte Senior Adult Ministry Intern
Marcos, a student
at Palmer Seminary, has been serving as an Intern at SBC for the
past two years. In the 2007 - 2008 ministry year he is working with the
Senior Adults.
