SBC Ministry Staff

MRS. JEAN LAYMAN  Music Director

Jean Layman is a woman of deep commitment to our Lord Jesus Christ who is gifted by Him with wonderful musical ability.   She is a people person who others immediately like and follow.   Jean directs our entire music program at SBC.   She leads the Chancel Choir, the Bell Choir, Children's Choir, leads the special music, and selects all our worship music.   She is a exceptional sacred musician.
Jean is a graduate of Bob Jones University, Greenville, SC with a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education.  She continued on at Bob Jones University as a Graduate Assistant in Music Theory while pursuing a Master of Science degree in Sacred Music. Jean has a lifetime of experience as an organist, pianist, and choir director in Delaware County area churches. She arranges sacred music for instrumental ensemble, especially stringed instruments. She is the past Director of the Residents Chorus at Lima Estates, Lima, PA.

MRS. EILEEN STAMBAUGH  Organist

Eileen Stambaugh's born-again faith is clearly heard through her music.  She is a delight to work with, and a strong member of our ministry staff.  She began her ministry with us in 2003 and has brought to us a special joy in worship music.
Eileen began her music career at the age of six, taking piano lessons for ten years, and then two years of organ lessons.  She gave her life to the Lord when she was eight years old.  She began playing for a beginner Sunday School class at the age of 10, progressing to playing for the adult Sunday School opening at age 14.  It was always her life-long desire to learn to play so she could play for church, and that is exactly what she’s done.  She has attended many different churches in her lifetime, having a ministry of music in each one, either piano or organ, or both as well as being part of a number of different gospel teams.
Eileen is the mother of two grown children, who are the delight of her life.  Besides music, her one passion is reading, and as time permits, different types of crafts.

MS. Marion D'Amico  Church Secretary

Marion began her ministry as our church secretary in August 2007.  She earned an A.A. from Delaware County Community College in Education.  Following that she went on to earn a B.S. from West Chester University in Professional Studies w/ a focus on Social Work.  Marion spent over five years working in the field of early childhood education and wanted a change.  So that is why she came to SBC.  In her free time Marion does volunteer work with various agencies through a community service organization in which she is a leader.  Marion enjoys spending time with her family,  especially her nephew.  Marion is excited to be a part of the SBC staff with the opportunity to learn the workings of the church and  meeting all the people.
