AWANA, (Approved Workers Are Not Ashamed) is an international children’s program that has promoted Bible memorization and the Gospel message for over eighty years.
Awana is a non-denominational ministry that assists churches in reaching children with the gospel of Jesus Christ and training them to serve Him.
Children from age four years (potty trained) through sixth grade are welcome to join in the fun events and solid Bible teaching from September to May each year.
Awana meets on Fridays from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm. for songs, games and special events. Through the year, we host special events.
The Awana Grand Prix, is where children make and race pinewood Derby cars.
T&Ts engage in friendly competition of Bible knowledge in a regional Bible Quiz.
A quarterly Awana Store allows children to spend the “Awana Dollars” they earned by completing section of their books.
Other special events include an Obstacle Course, Chocolate Night, and filling gift boxes for Operation Christmas Child.

Although much of the program is underwritten by the church, we ask for a yearly $15.00 per child ($30.00 maximum per family) to cover the cost of shirts, books and awards.
