Our church has made provisions for assisting individuals and families that find themselves in need of necessities. The importance of this ministry makes it necessary that we use prudence and seek God’s guidance in directing resources to those that truly need it. We have a process in place that helps us accomplish that. If you wish to request assistance, please follow the steps listed below to begin that vetting process.
Qualifications for individual benevolence:
- Request is for a basic need for housing, food, medical treatment or utility bills.
- Other sources of help have been exhausted. (family, community)
- The intake form has been completed as fully as possible.
- The applicant is willing to come for an in-person interview.
The application in no way assures approval of a benevolence request and must be signed, confirming the applicant understands the above.
This form can be printed and mailed, or filled in with Adobe Acrobat and emailed to secretary@springfieldbaptist.net. If emailed, you will be asked to sign the copy at your intake interview.
